Hi! I'm Marie, founder, and dyer here at La petite Leonne. I became a natural dyer when I became a mom. Learning about synthetic dyes and their impact on our health was the scariest thing and I decided to study natural dyes. Quickly I realized that we could do things differently, slowly, as it was done for thousands of years before us. There is something about working with natural colors that just pulls me. Every bath is different, every color is alive and changes over time. It empowers me. It's a true commitment, it doesn't always work my way, but I wouldn't change it for a minute. Creating beautiful colors without harming the environment or those who wear them is our mission. All of our products are naturally dyed with plants in our studio in Montreal, Canada.
